Phosphene Visions

An exhibition that brings together issues of consciousness, neuroscience, and perception by examining the phosphene: the perception of light in the absence of light entering the eye. Works included are those that address this entoptic (within the eye) phenomenon and expanded criteria on literal, metaphorical, and lyrical levels through paintings, drawings, videos, sculptures, and photo-based works.
